TESTIMONIALS

“SLYNCS has been a very valuable partner in the projects we organize, usually dealing with Human Rights Education. Their members and volunteers have a great spirit. The enthusiasm strengthens our partnership and the local communities involved”

Martijn BergsmaInternational Partner, Holland

“When I first met Jaffer, I was bowled over by his enthusiasm, positive energy and vision for SLYNCS – a social enterprise/charity focused on increasing engagement between youth and the local community. Having observed and met with the people with whom he works, I have seen first – hand, the power of that infectious spirit. The result of that work has been foundational collaboration and engagement”

Blackburn with Darwen Borough Council’s Young People Services have developed a close working relationship with SLYNCS and have a formal partnership agreement in place to cover joint working across several key strategic areas of delivery. SLYNCS have built up a very positive reputation for delivering high quality participation, social action and National Citizen Service projects – enabling young people to develop the skills, confidence and capacity to shape the services and the communities they live in.”

Imran AkujiHead of Community, Youth and Governance, Blackburn with Darwen Borough Council

“Since the inauguration of SLYNCS, the organisation has blossomed under the leadership of Jaffer Ali Hussain and the operational team. The original core values have been maintained throughout the years and transmitted for the benefit of the local youth but also the community at large. I was happy to support the early years of growth but delighted to witness the organisations transformation and believe further encouragement and support is now required to witness the next important expansion of this unique organisation SLYNCS.”
